Badge Pickup & Onsite Registration

Final Confirmation & Badge Pickup

All attendees who have completed registration will receive a Final Confirmation by email prior to arriving onsite at MWC Americas. The confirmation will contain a QR code, which will be scanned to pick up their badge. If your mobile device can display the QR code clearly, you may scan it from your mobile handset. Alternatively, please print a copy of your Final Confirmation email and bring it with you. Attendees with a QR code on their Final Confirmation should go to a Badge Pickup desk to pick up their badge when they arrive onsite. Badge Pickup is the quickest way to collect your badge onsite.

In addition to your final confirmation email, all attendees must present a government issued photo ID (such as a passport, national ID card, military ID or driver’s license) when picking up their badge. Picking up badges on behalf of a colleague is not permitted.

Attendees with an incomplete payment or balance due are encouraged to pay their balance due before arriving onsite to ensure a smooth onsite badge pick up process. Badges will not be provided and access will not be granted to anyone with a pending payment or balance due.

Age Requirements

The minimum age to attend Mobile World Congress Americas is 18. This is strictly enforced. Age restrictions are put in place to ensure a professional atmosphere for our attendees and exhibitors. Any requests for attendees under the age of 18 must be made in writing to Attendees under the age of 18 will not be admitted to the event without GSMA’s prior written approval.

Photo ID

Photo ID checks will be performed when you pick up your badge onsite and each time you enter a perimeter access point. The Registration Team cannot issue any badges or allow access to the venue without presenting a valid government issued photo ID (such as a passport, national ID card, military ID or driver’s license with photo).

Onsite Registration

We strongly recommend that you complete your registration before arriving onsite in order to avoid any potential delays when you arrive. All attendees must present a government issued photo ID (such as a passport, driver’s license, military ID or national ID card) when collecting their badge. Attendees who wish to register onsite should proceed to the “Onsite Registration” desks in the LACC, South Hall Lobby or West Hall Lobby.

LACC South Hall Lobby and LACC West Hall lobby are the designated registration and badge pickup locations.
