Sunrise 5K Run is Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the first-ever MWC Americas Sunrise 5K Run! Don’t miss the chance to run alongside your fellow attendees through the iconic streets of San Francisco! Below are a few helpful tips and reminders to give you a head start on the day:

Here’s what to expect tomorrow, Wednesday September 13th:
Onsite sign-in/registration opens @ 6:00 am
Sunrise 5K Run kicks off @ 6:30 am

Onsite registration and bib collection will take place from 6:00 am at The Yard, San Francisco. Please show up in your sportswear and arrive with plenty of time to sign-in and collect your bib (to pin to your shirt), as well as a complimentary bag and reusable water bottle. In order to sign-in you will need to give your name at the registration desk. If you have colleagues who want to join and have not pre-registered, they can sign up onsite with their event badge on a first-come first-serve basis.

The food bar will be open at The Yard from 6:00 am – 9:00 am, just present your bib for your free breakfast burrito! (Limited to one per person). You can choose from three types of breakfast burrito: Vegetarian, Chorizo, Chicken Apple Sausage (comes with sauces)
Sides: Guacamole, Fruit salad
Drinks: Water, OJ, Coffee

There will also be onsite water dispensers where you can fill up your bottles, and other food and drink options will be available to purchase, including crepes, non-alcoholic Mimosa’s and espresso coffee from the coffee cart.

A secure, supervised area to leave your belongings will be available at the yard if necessary, though we advise to bring the bare minimum with you and to leave your valuables at home.

The run itself will kick off at 6:30 am, and will take you along the waterfront past remarkable San Francisco sights, including: AT&T Park (home of San Francisco Giants), The Bay Bridge, The Ferry Building, The Marina Harbor, The Embarcadero waterfront, Lefty O’Doul Bridge, San Francisco Piers, and Mission Creek.

We look forward to seeing you bright and early tomorrow morning, and running alongside you on the day!
